Is Microblading for me?

MUST BE 18/OR OVER TO DO MICROBLADING EYEBROW SERVICES

Microblading is not for everyone. Some may not retain pigments the way others do. Everyone's skin is different so please keep in mind when you opt to do the procedure the results will depend on your skin not the microblading artist. The artist is experienced in the procedure to create and simulate single hair strokes in your brows but are not licensed dermatologists so please keep in mind these conditions below before making an appointment. 


ANYONE WITH THESE PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS MUST OBTAIN A DOCTORS NOTE:

  • Circulatory disorders
  • Bleeding disorders
  • Any serious diseases such as cancer, epilepsy, autoimmune disorders

MUST NOT BE/HAVE:

  • Pregnant
  • Breastfeeding ( possible without any anesthetic or numbing cream)
  • Menstruating - procedure is possible but not recommended.as sensitivity is heightened
  • Diabetic
  • Currently on Accutane or other strong retinoids (must wait 6 months to a year after treatment ends)
  • Taking blood thinners
  • Easily scarred 
  • Existing solid tattoos
  • Skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, severe acne or rash around the brows, contact dermatitis, skin ulcers, or any cutaneous conditions
  • Must not have allergies to iron oxide, glycerin, alcohol as these are the ingredients in the pigments. 

TYPES OF SKIN AND CONDITIONS THAT MAY NOT RETAIN PIGMENT/INK AS LONG AS NORMAL SKIN:  (Some people retain the pigment better than others.  Duration is dependent on a number of factors (i.e. lifestyle, hygiene, sun exposure, smoking etc).  Some people decide to freshen their brows after just 6 months, as pigment will begin to fade after time, however they can last up to 2 years with no touchups.)

  • ​Oily Skin
  • Large pores
  • Strong immune system
  • Skin that keloids 
  • Anemia 

* Please make sure to read  before treatment and the aftercare section before booking your appointment as you will not be able to resume to your regular everyday routine and activities for a week depending how you heal.
